Arrange the handover first
Ask who will receive the parcel and during which hours before placing the order. Confirm the recipient name, delivery address and contact details that the seller requires. Share the expected delivery date and tracking reference privately with the receiving contact.
If delivery cannot be completed
A failed attempt, cash-on-delivery request or identity check needs a separate agreement. Ask the seller or domestic carrier what happens next; do not assume a courier can collect from a branch without authorization. Receiving a parcel does not automatically include storage or onward shipping.
